RP For Beginners [RP 101]

RP - Role Play - 1: A collection of ideas and character's shared ammong freinds to create a story where everyone has a part in. 2: An act where you play a character in an adventure or story.

This is where you will learn the basics such as terms commonly used by roleplayers.

For those who are brand new to RP.

[Snuggle]

snuggles walks in and sets the class rom up, getting the fun coloring board and the white board and all her multicolored dry erase markers ready for the class

Light walks in and looks at the person moving equipment" hey are you mrs.snuggle?" Light looked at her with hope. Light hopes this is the right class he hates being embarrased.

[Snuggle]

turns around "yes I am....AH are you a student?" she asks hopefully a smile on her face

[Herp]

"oh thank death...i thought i went in the wrong class!"Light then walks around to his desk. Light notics this room is very colorful and has silly puns and a water fountain near the exit. Light reads the pun. "Don't be a bee so just RP...what that doesn't make sense?" Light turned his head in confusion.

[Snuggle]

she giggled "don't worry you will get it...and I see you already did the first little thing about RPing...noticing your surroundings..." she walked to her big comfy chair apparently it was a very informal classroom.

"but first things first....can you tell me what RP stands for?" she smiled a bit more at him waiting for his answer

[Herp]

Light was shy but he answers with a small voice saying. "uh..does it mean Role playing?"Light then opens his notebook writing the lesson down in the book.

[Snuggle]

she nodded "very good...yes it means role playing....but tell me do you know what role playing means hmm?"

[Herp]

"i think it means you play as a fantasy character or a character in a story in there role." Light felt that it was wrong. Light starts to write things down in his journal.

[Snuggle]

nods "very good...now then...do you know what the term IC and OOC stand for?"

[Herp]

Light starts to feel encouraged and happy."I think it means In character and out of character." Light felt confident about his answer.

[Snuggle]

she nods again "very good now then when should you use OOC?" she leaned back in the large comfy chair and smiled at him

"well if its a site you sohuld send the player a private message or in the chat box. if the site has one." Light said sitting back in his metal chair.

[Snuggle]

nods once more "very good....and you know if you want to sit on one of the bean bag chairs or the comfy chairs you can" giggles as she looked at him.

"now then do you have any questions at the moment?"

[Herp]

"err when is my next class i don't wanna be late." Light said with curiosity.

[Snuggle]

she giggled "it's an informal class when I am here feel free to drop by okay?"

[Herp]

"okay!" Light runs out of the door heading to his descipition class. "bye have a good after noon!" Light said running out of the class.

she waved "bye bye have a good day"
