Camp Half-Blood

Camp Half-Blood
Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, a state-of-the-art training facility for young demigods. If you are a young hero aspiring to make use of the facility and train yourself for the outside world, this is your lucky day! Please proceed to the Big House, where you may immediately sign yourself up for camp (year-round or summer-only) by writing your own detailed description of you, also known as your profile. You will then be placed in a cabin based on your profile, which should include physical features, attributes, hobbies, talents, or personality similar to that of your immortal parent. Each cabin is dedicated to one of the twelve Olympians, and houses the sons and daughters of that god.
Once you have been placed in your appropriate cabin, you may feel free to stay as long as you like, though you must leave when you reach adulthood at age twenty-one. Until then, you are free to live here and enjoy growing up with fellow half-bloods. You can train in the arena, go canoeing or swimming in the lake, play capture the flag in the woods, or socialize with your friends (aka your relatives) in the cabins or the courtyard. You are also able to go "home" and live with your mortal parent, but it is mandatory for you to come back to camp in the summer. Have fun, and try not to get killed!
Sincerely, Mr. D., Camp Director Chiron, Activities Director Mr. Riordan, Senior Scribe Rihannon and Rachel McKenzie, Website Managers
Half-Blood Hill, Farm Road 3.141 Long Island, New York 11954
Courtyard
A commons area the size of a soccer field facing the cabins, dotted with Greek statues, fountains, flower beds, and a couple of basketball hoops. An overall gathering area for socializing.
Campfire
A huge stone-lined "firepit" in the center of the Courtyard. Its fire is always burning, tended by Hephaestus kids in shifts. Here the Apollo kids also lead sing-alongs every night.
Volleyball Courts
The dryads are up for a game. Care to join? We also have water balloon volleyball games on extra-hot days.
Arts and Crafts Center
This includes the forges and the outdoor craft shack, where you can make friendship bracelets and lanyards.
Climbing Wall
Be careful, and remember not to look down at the lava or in between the clashing rocks!
Amphitheater
Every night the Apollo cabin leads sing-alongs here, which start at 7:30 and end at 8:30. Archery Range
Right beside the Arena. Flame-tipped arrows are available.
Arena
Don't worry. The red stains are just ketchup... well, most of them.
Lake
Up for a swim? If not, there's always canoeing...
Woods
Want to play some Capture the Flag? Seige the Castle? What about Hunting and Tracking? The wood's stocked and waiting...
Stables
It's okay, the chimera won't hurt you!
Mess Hall/Dining Pav
Yum! Barbecue smells good!!!
